Vixen’s Pink Sangria

1 Bottle of Rosé

1 Bottle of Sauvignon Blanc

4oz of Brandy

1 Can  of Ginger Ale

!/2 Bottle of Pink Cranberry Juice

Sliced Ginger (7 medium thick slices)

Sliced Whole Pear

Sliced Plum or Sliced Clementine

Pomegranate or Cranberries (Handful)

Star Anise (5-7 pods)

3 Cinnamon Sticks 


In a large pitcher mix all the ingredients and refrigerate over night. For a fizzy sangria add the the ginger ale just before serving.

The best place to find star anise is Sprouts Farmers Market they sell it in bulk so you can just buy what you need.

Adult Hot Cocoa Bar

Lets start with the basic must haves; mini marshmallows, whip cream, cinnamon, cocoa, and cookies.

To add a little cheer I recommend adding a shot of liquor to the cup of hot cocoa. Different liquors will add different notes.

I have listed the liquors to make the hot cocoa pairing simple for your next cozy gathering.

Aged or dark rum: vanilla, caramel, spice, oak smooth

Bourbon: toasted oak, nutty, vanilla, buttery

Crème De Menthe or Peppermint schnapps: explains it self in the name.

Baileys: smooth milk chocolate, vanilla

Kahlua: coffee notes of vanilla and caramel

Galliano: star anise, vanilla, licorice

Crème De Cacao: rich chocolate

Cointreau or Triple sec: orange with a mild spice hint

Tia Maria: coffee, vanilla, caramel with hint of citrus
